I love the Fall season! Pumpkin-spiced everything, sweet potato goodies, and the cool temperatures all put me in the mood to slow down and reflect. As the seasons change I always like to do a little purging around the house, get rid of unwanted junk, and shop for new seasonal items. This season I also thought about how I can clean up my life, in general and share them with you.
Realization with the "Real"
The change of the season is a great time to see things as they really are. If a relationship is not working out, if a job is stifling your growth, or your anger for a situation that is out of your contol. There is no reason you should let issues make you a victim. Once you realize the "Real" and be honest with yourself, you can start to declutter your life and make a clean slate.
Renew your behavior
I bet if you really think about it, you can identify at least one behavior that has done you no good. It is time to let that go! If you have been obsessing or procrastinating and have not yet broken the cycle, it is time to address each issue and clean it UP! Have you been wanting to start your business, go back to school, travel more? Is procrastination stopping you? Its time to kick that habit.
Accepting Yourself and the season you’re in
So often we walk around with this huge burden on our shoulders. We are ashamed, guilty, or hurt about our past, so we carry it all day long, everyday and we're unable to thrive. The change of the season is a time to accept and forgive yourself. You don't need to walk around with scars from your past, you're way more beautiful than that.
I would love to hear from you! Are you in a season of a "life cleanse"? Have you ever felt this way in the past? Please let me know in the comments below.
